Compare and Contrast

Okay, seriously me or Georgina Darcy? Granted, I've never meet Miss Darcy, but I hear she is quite shy.  Sure, she may be drop dead gorgeous, but it's not like Bingley hasn't complemented me on my attractiveness. Something is going on here... I wish I knew what she has that I don't. Possibly the last name Darcy? Ha.

Believe It Or Not?

Lizzy claims Darcy has changed into a perfect gentleman. Manners, personality, everything. I can hardly believe it, is she sick? Sleep deprived? Darcy and perfect gentleman I would never have guessed would be in the same sentence, let alone coming out of Lizzy's mouth. Was it not just the other day we discussed his advice to Bingley to lay of the poor, untalented, Bennet girl? Puh-lease.

Daring Darcy

Darcy is quite the character I'd say. I can easily say I have not encountered even a poor amount of boys who have the nerve to talk to Lizzy more then twice. She is a little fireball to deal with, and even tougher to flirt with as I watch boys attempt too. I give Darcy some props for that alone. Maybe he isn't so bad for Lizzy after all?

The Days Drag On

I can't believe it is possible to be this bored. Lizzy is gone and I have no one to have deep talks with. I have continued to do the same, boring things as the days go on and on. Sewing, reading, cooking. Maybe I could convince Kitty to paint my nails, or I could braid her hair over and over again. I mean, it would be a change in this normal, vapid routine I have unwillingly created for myself.

Wonderful Wickham?

How completely shocking it is to discover Wickham's lies to Lizzy. She deserves much better then him now. However, I could argue Darcy isn't much better, but I suppose we'll have to see. I am content that we are saving Wickham from public humiliation though, he doesn't deserve extremities such as that.

Farewell Lydia!

Goodbye Lydia! Have fun in Brighton and don't get too crazy! I trust Colonel Forster will keep you safe and hopefully try to control your extreme flirting habits with the rest of the officers. Say a couple of kind words to Kitty before you leave? She feels terribly jealous that the soldiers are leaving and you have been allowed to accompany them.

A Family Affair

As soon as the carriage got home, we were greeted by mother and father. As a pleasent surprise, we hosted a dinner with the Lucases. Although some other discussion had taken place, Lydia continued to only have one thing on her mind; soldiers. Soon, she requested that we all go to Meryton to visit them. Perfect, this is just what I wanted the moment I returned to my own bed..

Boy Crazy

Finally, I am in the carriage returning home with Lizzy. Although I am excited as ever to see my sisters, Lydia and Catherine, it seems they are not as much interested in my trip but more into the soldiers. I suppose nothing had changed with those two boy crazy girls. I have tuned them out for now, however; I hear the mumbles of "soldiers, military, and soo cute," over and over again.. I do hope we get home within the next two minutes for a new topic of discussion.

Out On The Town

Thank goodness for that stay at London. The city is so beautiful. I feel so relieved as that was a perfect distraction from such events such as Bingley leaving and missing my dear family. I do wish I could have brought someone along though, perhaps a girl's night? I simply cannot wait until I see Lizzy to share such sights and stories with her.

Home Sick

I miss my family. I don't know what I'll do if I don't see them soon. I have so much to share with everyone. I wonder if anything exciting has happened without me there as well... Perhaps Lydia has even found a nice man? Don't I know that Lydia will pursue anyone my mother has laid her eyes on...

Rumor Has It

Gossip has been spreading like wildfire around this town lately, however; one particular rumor is one I would rather not like to believe. Apparently, Darcy admitted to Lizzy that he sabotaged Mr. Bingley's romance with me. He claims he saved a friend from an "imprudent marriage." Although several socialites have claimed they overheard Darcy clearly say this, I want to hear from Bingley himself. Ugh, all this drama is too much for me.

The Truth About Heartbreak

A broken heart takes a long time to heal. Countless days I've stared at the phone, waiting for him to call. If he could just tell me the reason; surely it can't be money. Bingley's best interest never concerned money, he's the type of man to look into a girl's personality, regardless of her looks or fortune. Something bigger must be going on and I'm dying to know what. Here comes another day to staring at that phone...
